An exciting opportunity to join our team - we are currently seeking highly motivated, energetic, and experienced retail staff to join The Bali Tailor team in our flagship store in Manly, NSW - starting ASAP.
Working on a weekend roster and alternate weekdays, you will be responsible for providing exceptional retail customer service in store in order to meet sales targets. You will also be required to support our online team in fulfilment of orders and in-store click & collects, whilst also coordinating the daily operational procedures in-store, and providing general admin support to our Head Office team.
Successful applicants will be skilled in retail sales and customer service, are self-motivated, friendly, passionate and proactive, with a natural ability to create rapport with a broad range of customers.
As a Retail Assistant, your tasks will include:
Outstanding communication skills, with the confidence to sell, whilst creating an exceptional customer experience;
Ability to work in, and contribute to, a motivated and positive team environment, a well as working autonomously;
Ability to manage all aspects of the retail store to maximise sales results, and customer experience;
Identifying opportunities to drive and increase sales;
Manage new stock deliveries and visual merchandising within the store;
Assisting with customer service across all platforms including emails, phone, live chat, Instagram and Facebook enquiries, as well as fulfilment and shipment of online orders;
General administrative support to the Head Office team, assisting with stock movements, purchasing office and packaging supplies etc.;
Ensuring the store is kept exceptionally clean and well-maintained merchandising standards, and all stock is stored in a well organised manner at all times;
Excellent organisational skills, and a can-do attitude are essential!
Successful candidates will have:
2+ years of experience in a retail role, preferably in the fashion industry;
Available to work weekends, and at least 1-3 shifts during the week where required;
Have your drivers licence and/or your own form of transport;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
A positive attitude; be self motivated, ability to take initiative with respect for others and be a team player;
Well mannered, clean and presentable; with a willingness to go above and beyond;
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and EFTPOS;
Knowledge of Shopify POS and CIN7 is preferred.
