We recently sat down with Grace Cox, the face of our latest campaign First Light, to hear more about her move to Australia, her love of the East Coast and her favourite The Bali Tailor pieces.
Q. First things first, tell us a little about yourself!
Hi, my name is Grace Cox and I’m a kiwi!
I grew up in California from ages 2 to 8, then finished my schooling in Auckland, New Zealand. I completed my first year of commerce studying at Otago University, however I have decided to pause my degree to focus on my modelling career. I love doing anything outdoors, especially going to the beach.
Q. You recently moved here from NZ, what drew you to make the move to Aus?
I was given an amazing opportunity this year to move to Sydney for modelling. I’ve always dreamed of living in Sydney, and am very grateful for my agencies Priscilla’s and Super for helping me make that move. I was also driven to move to Sydney for its famous beaches and vibrant culture.
Q. What do you love most about living on Australia’s East Coast?
The thing I love most about living on Australia’s East Coast is the beautiful coastal walks. Most days I walk along the coast from Coogee, and it never seems to get old.
Q. Where is a must visit for someone travelling to NZ?
Queenstown! It’s the most beautiful place in the South Island. Great place to go skiing, jet boating and exploring. The night life is great, with plenty of old pubs. Queenstown is famous for it's amazing wineries, definitely worth the trip!
Q. What was your favourite piece to model from the campaign?
I loved all the pieces from the campaign however the one that stood out to me was the beautiful Adrienne Pant. They are an absolute classic and staple in your wardrobe.
