The Bali Tailor products are handmade with care in Indonesia. Your items are made from 100% genuine leather/suede, and vegan items are made from a faux leather/ suede. Items require specialist cleaning only.

We recommend protecting your garment by spraying it with a leather/suede protector, before wearing, and a protector should be applied regularly to help resist the effects of daily wear and soiling. Leathers/ suedes in lighter colours are prone to absorb other dyes it comes into contact with, so please do take care when wearing items such as dark denim. Most leather can be cleaned, however it is very important to find the correct specialist leather cleaner for your item.

Do not ever machine or hand wash your item, and do not tumble dry or iron. Extra care should be taken when wearing and storing your items.

Polishing is a great way to remove fingerprints and dust from your leather items. Always store your leather items in a cool, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat, and never store any leather item in plastic as it cannot breathe. Hang your item on a well shaped hanger.

Leather/suede is a natural material and therefore any inconsistency of colour and texture is a unique characteristic, of your item and is not considered a fault. Leather is designed to age with wear, and may soften, stretch or fade a little over time.
